Welcome to my brown and pink blog! I created this blog because I just love brown and pink – the rich chocolatey color of the dark brown paired up with the sweet color of pink is so pretty! These lovely colors have found their way into many different things in our daily lives like – gift wrapping paper, party decorations, party favors, sweet treats, cakes and cupcakes, party games, dresses, home decor, and so much more! Brown is the color of stability, hearth, home, comfort, endurance, & reliability. It is also the color of calm, boldness, simplicity, richness, steadfastness, tradition, friendliness, and dependability. It is the color of our earth and is associated with all things natural or organic. Brown is a natural, down-to-earth, warm and unifying neutral color.
--- Pink ---
Pink is the color of joy, Spring, gratitude, love, sympathy, appreciation, admiration, femininity, and marriage. Brighter pinks are youthful, fun, exciting, and stimulate energy, increase blood pressure, respiration, pulse and heartbeat rate. Softer pinks represent romance and the blush of a young woman’s cheeks! |

My cube at work is decked out in brown and pink...and wouldn't you know it...Susan from Payroll came down to ask me if I had any ideas for brown and pink bridesmaid gifts as she was going to have a brown and pink spa day with her friends! I'm becoming a regular brown and pink resource even at work! This one stumped me for while until I found these items which would be perfect for her bridal shower - a purse style brown and pink manicure set, a mod brown and pink Spa Day invitation, a comfy brown and pink jersey, and a brown with pink polka dots cosmetic case! |

Well summer is finally here and I'm spending alot of time at the beach and local boardwalk. There are sweets galore out there which is tough because it makes it that much harder for me to squeeze into my bathing suit!
So these are too perfect! These are towel favors that are made to look like brown and pink ice cream cones and candy! Delightful!

I stumbled across these adorable (1 tier, 2 tier, and 3 tier) brown and pink diaper cakes! These would make great centerpieces on the food or gift tables of your brown and pink themed baby shower. They would also make a charming, and yet practical, gift for the mommy to be! I know I sure would love to receive this if I was expecting! |

Oh I almost forgot...here is the runner up to the brown and pink sweets I considered for the baby shower I mentioned in my Jan. 6th post....mints of course. I found all kinds of cute designs for the top of the tins in brown and pink that could be personalized for my party.
Of course....in the end...chocolate won out! |

Well it is a new year and I started it off by throwing a baby shower for my best friend. It was a shower that included ladies of all ages so I had to find tasty treats that would everyone and, of course, needed to find sweets that were brown and pink as that was the theme of the baby shower (because the nursery is going to be brown and pink!!). I was so excited to find these chocolate petit fours with pink monograms on top which I though would be fabulous for the women in the group. And then I found these cute chocolate and pink dotted lollipops for the younger girls! What a find!! Needless to say....they were a hit!

I was interested in finding some really nice giftwrap in chocolate brown with pink polka dots and have been having a really hard time trying to find some that looked really elegant.
I went to local card stores, department stores, and specialty paper stores. I'm telling ya, its tough to find!
But, I recently came across a website that has gorgeous giftwrap in a rich chocolate brown with just-the-right-color pink polka dots! I'm so excited!!
